TeleHealth Services
The pandemic of COVID-19 has changed the landscape of how some healthcare providers communicate with their patients. Some patients have interacted via “TeleHealth” with their physician during this period of time.
According the American Physical Therapy Association, TeleHealth is “the use of electronic information and telecommunication technologies to remotely provide health care information and services.
Physical Therapists can now provide that same service for patients who wish to be evaluated and treated through TeleHealth. (Please note: Insurance inclusions apply).
On April 30th, the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid issued a an interim rule allowing Physical Therapists to conduct real time “face-to-face” TeleHealth services
